Artist in Residency 2025 - Gavin Kew is a South African multimedia artist based in New Zealand. Gavin develops works in ceramics, painting and printmaking, often having photography as a starting point. He travel frequently bringing his perceptions of different cultures, people and places into his artistic practice. While at Aviário Studio Gavin printed a collection of large ornamented vases and made some experiments with cyanotype.
